1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup toffee bits

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
Fold in the toffee bits and chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a richer flavor, allow the browned butter to cool slightly before mixing with sugars.
Add a pinch of espresso powder to enhance chocolate flavor.
