A quick and easy Chicken Marsala recipe that adds a juicy twist to the classic dish, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms, sauté until softened.
  5. Pour in Marsala wine and bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add chicken back to the skillet and simmer until cooked through.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in wine for a few hours before cooking.
