1 pound ground turkey
4 slices turkey bacon
4 slices rye bread
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the onions until caramelized.
Form the ground turkey into patties, season with salt and pepper, and cook in the skillet until browned and cooked through.
To assemble, place a patty on a slice of rye bread, add crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and a slice of Swiss cheese. Top with another slice of rye bread.
Butter the outer sides of the sandwich and grill until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with your favorite sides.
