- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned.
- Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic; sauté until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook until al dente.
- Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Serve hot topped with crispy turkey bacon.
