  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic, paprika, and cayenne pepper; stir and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes and seafood stock, bringing it to a simmer.
  4. Slowly add the heavy cream, stirring well to combine.
  5. Gently fold in the crab meat and shrimp; let it cook for about 5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
