A delicious and comforting dish of creamy ricotta beef stuffed shells pasta perfect for cozy dinner nights.

Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix cooked beef, ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
  7. Arrange stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
  8. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add crushed red pepper to the beef mixture.
  • Feel free to use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
