- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cooked beef, ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
- Arrange stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add crushed red pepper to the beef mixture.
- Feel free to use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
