A deliciously creamy pasta dish featuring savory mushrooms and crispy turkey bacon, all cooked in one skillet for easy cleanup.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble into pieces.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in spinach and allow to wilt.
  6. Incorporate cooked pasta, torn turkey bacon, and Parmesan cheese into the skillet. Toss to combine.
  7. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit turkey bacon and add more mushrooms.
  • Make sure not to overcook the spinach; it should just wilt.
