- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
- Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
- Add heavy cream and uncooked fettuccine, stir well.
- Cook on low for an additional 30 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sauté onions and mushrooms before adding to the crockpot.
- This soup can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
