Crockpot Chicken Alfredo Soup is the perfect easy comfort food for any day of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
  6. Add heavy cream and uncooked fettuccine, stir well.
  7. Cook on low for an additional 30 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sauté onions and mushrooms before adding to the crockpot.
  • This soup can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
