- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup diced turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add butter and onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in the flour and cook for a minute.
- Add the chicken broth and broccoli, bring to a simmer.
- Once the broccoli is tender, stir in the cream and cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add bacon back in before serving.
