A comforting and creamy soup made with tender chicken, turkey bacon, and hearty noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and celery; sauté until soft.
  3. Add garlic and thyme; cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook until tender.
  6. Stir in shredded chicken, turkey bacon, and heavy cream; heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, add more heavy cream or a slurry of cornstarch and water.
