An easy and comforting twist on lasagna with turkey bacon and beef, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups wide lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, add ground beef, onions, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Serve hot with a dollop of ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan on top.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute meat with lentils or mushrooms.
