  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups mafaldine or short pasta
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic over medium heat.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, broth, pasta, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
