  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add sliced onions, and sauté until caramelized.
  3. In a large pot, combine orzo and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in shredded chicken, turkey bacon, caramelized onions, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
