  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Add half of the cooked turkey bacon and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more cheese between the layers.
  • Use a mandoline slicer for evenly sliced potatoes.
