  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the enchilada sauce, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt to the beef mixture.
  4. Layer half of the tortillas in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the beef mixture over the tortillas, then sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers, ending with cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
