  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and cook until chicken is browned.
  4. Mix cornstarch with a small amount of water, add to the skillet and stir until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in chopped green onions and red pepper flakes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust heat by adding more or fewer red pepper flakes.
