A rich and decadent cheesecake that combines layers of chocolate and cherries for a heavenly experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1 cup dark cherries, pitted
  • ¼ cup cherry juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the mixture over the crust, then layer with chocolate ganache and cherries.
  6. Add the remaining cream cheese mixture on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Serve chilled, drizzled with cherry juice.

Notes

  • Let the cheesecake sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Top with extra cherries for decoration.
