- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chicken breasts, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve the pasta topped with the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For a little heat, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute chicken thighs for more flavor.
