  • 1 pound maccheroni
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook maccheroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham; cook until browned.
  5. Mix in tomato sauce and black pepper; let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Combine the meat sauce with the cooked maccheroni and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
