  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into even pieces.
  3. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  4. In the same skillet, add olive oil and carrots, sautéing for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add maple syrup, bacon, salt, and pepper; toss to coat.
