Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup cheese sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and salt, knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  4. Shape dough into small bites and boil in baking soda water for 30 seconds.
  5. Place on baking sheet, brush with egg, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with cheese sauce.
