  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar, pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Prepare the maple glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bread.
