  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the spice cake mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese into the batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.
