  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, tear the biscuit dough into pieces and drop on top of the chicken mixture.
  4. Cover and continue cooking until the biscuits are cooked through.
