Spinach Garlic Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Take a small amount of the mixture, flatten it in your hand, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
