  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until peaks form.
  10. Once the cake is cool, layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
