  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
