A delicious and easy meal combining chicken sausage, broccoli, and orzo for a quick and nutritious dinner.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 links chicken sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add the broccoli and a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cooked orzo, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese before serving.
