A delicious and easy recipe for sautéed zucchini with turkey bacon and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the zucchinis and slice them into half-moons.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the zucchinis and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  6. Mix in the chopped turkey bacon and thyme.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers for added flavor.
